La Fondation Siloé est une organisation humanitaire internationale, apolitique et à but non lucratif, dont le siège se trouve à Douala — Nkolmbong, PK21 (Maison Siloé), plus précisément à Welbanoumack, chez le Togo. Elle s'inscrit dans une logique d'aide au développement, accompagnant les populations vers la réussite de leur autonomie et la lutte contre la pauvreté.
Fondation Siloé is an international humanitarian organization, non-political and non-profit, headquartered in Douala — Nkolmbong, PK21 (Siloé House), more precisely in Welbanoumack, near Le Togo. It works to support development, helping communities achieve self-reliance and overcome poverty.
Dans un souci de secours et d'assistance, la fondation vient en aide en temps de crise et participe aux actions d'urgence et de stabilisation, avec pour ambition de contribuer à l'amélioration des conditions de vie socio-économiques, culturelles et évangéliques, dans une approche de développement durable et participatif.
Committed to relief and assistance, the foundation helps in times of crisis and takes part in emergency and stabilization efforts, aiming to improve social, economic, cultural and spiritual living conditions through a sustainable, participatory approach.

L'origine du nom Siloé The origin of the name Siloé
« Siloé » signifie « envoyé ». C'est le nom d'une maison, d'une mission, et aujourd'hui d'une ONG née d'une passion pour l'humanité. "Siloé" means "Sent." It is the name of a house, a mission, and today an NGO born from a passion for humanity.
Un missionnaire évangélique suisse, Walter Spöhel, arrive à Douala en 2007 pour l'évangélisation. Il loue une maison qu'il nomme « Maison Siloé ». En 2012, Kodjovi Adjewoda, venu du Togo pour des études de théologie évangélique, rejoint cette communauté de missionnaires installée à la Maison Siloé. Swiss evangelical missionary Walter Spöhel arrives in Douala in 2007 for evangelism. He rents a house he names the "Siloé House." In 2012, Kodjovi Adjewoda, who had come from Togo to study evangelical theology, joins this community of missionaries living at the Siloé House.
Après le retour de Walter en Suisse, la famille Adjewoda quitte la mission en 2017 pour s'installer ailleurs, avant de revenir en 2021 dans une nouvelle station missionnaire tout juste construite. After Walter's return to Switzerland, the Adjewoda family leaves the mission in 2017 to settle elsewhere, before returning in 2021 to a newly built mission station.
Guidés par leur passion pour l'humanité, Kodjovi et sa famille fondent officiellement la Fondation Siloé en 2023, une ONG humanitaire autonome — en hommage à la Maison Siloé d'autrefois. Driven by their passion for humanity, Kodjovi and his family officially found Fondation Siloé in 2023, an independent humanitarian NGO — in tribute to the Siloé House of years past.
